Escaping the Mundane Classroom
This unique PD experience equips teachers with the resources and strategies to transform their traditional lesson plans into interactive, escape room-like experiences. Imagine transforming a lesson on ancient civilizations into an archaeological adventure, where students decipher hieroglyphs and unlock the secrets of the past. Using resources such as customizable airplane tickets, receipts, or social media posts, teachers can create an immersive and engaging educational journey.
Creative Classroom
This 60-minute session, available both in-person and virtually, is designed to stimulate creativity and foster divergent thinking in students. Teachers will learn effective techniques to transform conventional lessons and assignments into platforms for creative expression. For instance, a standard science assignment on photosynthesis can be revamped as a creative storytelling opportunity, where students narrate the journey of a water molecule through the process. Through these professional development programs, we aim to inspire teachers to create dynamic, engaging, and creative classrooms that stimulate students’ imagination and intellectual curiosity.
